Staging Your Home for Guests!
Are you having people over this holiday season? Getting your house ready for other people to see can be stressful. After all, we live in our homes for comfort. Maintaining a tidy home is always the first step, but going the extra mile will really make your house stand out. We have compiled a list of staging necessities to make sure your home is picture perfect for your guests!
Double check the outside of your home.
Make sure there is no dirt or grime on the exterior of your home and all flowerbeds are free of weeds. Outdoor lighting should also be free from dirt and in working condition. If fixtures are loose, simply tighten them for an extra polished look. For outdoor furniture, double check that there are no leaves or bugs under and in between cushions.

There is no doubt that the kitchen is the heart of the home. That being said, it is important to make sure that it presents in the best way possible. One simply way to make your kitchen look extra organized is by having clean countertops. Any small appliances and unnecessary items should be stored away and out of eyesight for that clean, spacious look.

Depersonalize your space.
Yes, children’s artwork can be sweet, however, not every guest wants to sit on the remnants of a glitter bomb from last week’s art project. Filing away sentimental items you want to hold on to (and trashing the others… shhh) is a simple task that can make your space look extra neat.
Pro tip: utilize a plastic filing tub for art projects. Simply get a file folder, label it with the child’s age or grade, and file accordingly!
